New Project Tender For The Ministry Of Industry And Primary Resources, Brunei Darussalam

The succeeding of the PMO Net has acquired Asdion’s partner, Srimaya Technologies & Communications with another major project for The Supply, Delivery, Installation, Development, Testing, Commissioning And Maintenance Of The IT Center And Infrastructure For Ministry Of Industry And Primary Resources, Brunei Darussalam.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is now considered as one of the growing areas and also one of the Key Chapters in Brunei’s National Development Plan. This development is expected to maintain a highly ICT profile in various sectors to boost the national socio-economic development as well as focusing on the drive towards electronic Government or e-Government

In order to meet the criteria of ICT development programs, some highly technical skills and plans are required to be deployed by Asdion to foster better coordination among all parties involved. Besides providing extensive installation, testing and commissioning to the entire working units, the schedule also expected to establish a manageable, high availability and secure enterprise data center and the network infrastructure with a multi-tiered design, service oriented, webcentric architecture to en able the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources to provide manageable IT services to its customers on the 24 x 7 basis. Venturing into Brunei market marks a very good start for Asdion to penetrate further into the regional markets. Brunei’s small and well-to-do economy has attracted many investors with mixtures of foreign and domestic entrepreneurs and supported by good government regulation, culture and tradition. Together, both public and private sectors are working closely to promote business activities in this sultanate state.
